Long traditions with global perspective
Frydenbø Power AS, former William Knudsen, is a Norwegian owned company, part of the Frydenbø group of companies. Since established in 1929, Frydenbø Power AS has grown into one of the leading suppliers of dieselengines, propulsion systems, gensets and propeller equipment in Norway. We are located at Skedsmokorset, 25 km north-east of Oslo, not far from Oslo airport Gardermoen. Total indoor floor area is approx. 2.800 m2. A stable workforce of 45 people take care of sales, service, aftersales and partdeliveries. Since the start in 1929, almost 10.000 dieselengines are delivered in Norway, for service on shore and at sea. Motoren-Werke Mannheim became part of the DEUTZ group of companies in 1985. As SCHOTTEL representative in Norway from 1954, we have delivered between 400 and 500 rudder propellers, transverse thrusters and pump jets.
